Artist’s Statement

I am an expressionist and sensuous colorist.
I abstract nature, and paint my sensory experience......
the essence, depth, energy, spirit, rhythm and movement of color and light.

Painting, for me, is highly energized, a focused improvisation;
a spontaneous and active experiment in color, texture, and expression. It is intense, rigorous, and a daily process.
